Sundernagar Market

I went to Sundernagar Market to see some antiques, just about 30 min away by cab from where I stay. It was a fun little area with many stores to look around for old furniture, silver jewelries, brass and copper objects etc.

Mittal Stores is a famous for selling highest quality tea leaves and spice. I had my driver waiting and was watching my time so I didn't go in today but plan to come back for tea tasting session next time.

  1. Mittal is where some of the Japanese expats' wives used to buy tea for suvenir and presents. I think one of the best known tea vendor in Delhi.
So strange cause I have also been to all of the shops in your photos.
    Enjoy!!

  2. Thanks Eri! I went to one of the jewelry shops at this market complex and the owner thought I was an expat wife. Of course, he was surprised to know that I was here for work. "it is you working? not your husband?"
Let me know if you want anything from this tea shop!
