Nehru Place

There's a big area of electronic stores at Nehru Place next to the area of fabric store heaven I visited last time. This is Delhi's version of Akihabara in Tokyo.
前回行ってきたネループレイスの生地の問屋街の同じエリアには大きな電気街があります。ここはまさにデリーの秋葉原。

Fell in love, love, love with this store, Zaza Home in Zamrudpur.
ザムルドプールにあるこのお店 Zaza Homeに住みつきたいくらい好き







They also have a nice cafe. good food too.

Lace and fabric heaven at Nehru Place

It was almost closing time when I arrived but a step into Nehru Place became my heaven place to search for all sorts of fabric and lace and materials. This my not be a post that will be of interest for many people but the discovery of this place was like discovering an island full of candies! I only got to have a good look at the lace shop this time (and it wasn't enough!) but I hope to return back again... before I leave back to Tokyo soon...
着いた頃はもうお店が閉まる時間に近かったけれど、ネループレイスに一歩足を踏み込んだら即座に生地やレースの天国にいるようだった。このポストは大半の人にはあまり興味のない内容かもしれないけれど、この場所の発見はまるでお菓子の島を発見したような気持ちにさせられた！今回はレース屋さんしか見れなかったけれど（それでも時間が足りなかった！）近々東京に帰国する前にまた戻ってきたい！

There were lots and lots of fabric shops like this. I only got a sneak peak this time before the shops closed. I must return!
こういった生地屋さんが軒並みある。今回はお店が閉まる前の覗き見程度だったけれど、また戻ってこなければ！

Hunting for treasure or junk??

these are all antique metal plate ads. Most of them are ads for beedis (tabacco cigarettes), matches and detergents. So retro-cute and interesting, I can spend hours looking!
これは全部昔のメタルのプレート広告　ほとんどがビーディー（タバコ）やマッチや洗剤の宣伝　レトロでかわいいくて面白いからここで時間を忘れるくらい見ていられる！

Green Park Market

Took a ride on a Velo taxi (for the first time. It was really nice!) to Green Park Market, right near Hauz Khas Village.
ヴェロ・タクシーに乗って（始めて乗ったけどなかなか良かった！）ハウズカス・ヴィレッジ近くのグリーンパーク・マーケットまで行ってきた

Sundernagar Market

I went to Sundernagar Market to see some antiques, just about 30 min away by cab from where I stay. It was a fun little area with many stores to look around for old furniture, silver jewelries, brass and copper objects etc.
滞在先からタクシーで３０分くらいの所にあるスンダールナガール・マーケットでアンティークを見に行ってきました。コンパクトなエリアにお店がたくさんあって、古い家具とか銀のアクセサリーや真ちゅうや銅でできたオブジェなど色々あって楽しめました。

Mittal Stores is a famous for selling highest quality tea leaves and spice. I had my driver waiting and was watching my time so I didn't go in today but plan to come back for tea tasting session next time.
ミッタル・ストアズは最高級品の紅茶が揃っているお店。ドライバーを待たせてたから今日は入らなかったけれど、次回また紅茶の試飲をしに戻ってこようと思う。
