Jaipur Palaces and Forts

During my visit to Jaipur the driver took me to so many palaces where the Maharajas used to live long, long time ago. I'll omit the detailed description of the palaces and forts but will share you some amazing architectures, arts and the stunning scenery I saw.
ジャイプールに滞在中、運転手にずっと昔にマハラジャ達が住んでいたお城を見に連れて行ってくれました。お城や要塞の説明は省略するとして、今回は見てきた素晴らしい建築物、アートや絶景を紹介します。

AMBER FORT　アンベール城
This is the entrance of the palace. Considering they started building this from the 16th century and took 2 centuries to complete, it's amazing how the architectures are kept and the colors of the paintings remain so fresh til this day.
これがお城の入り口。16 世紀から建て始めて完成するまで２世紀かかったらしいけれど、建築物の保存状態や絵の色が今でも見事に鮮やかで本当にすばらしかった。

It's hard to tell but the wall and ceiling is all covered in mirror mosaics.
写真だと少し分かりにくいけれど、壁も天井も鏡のモザイクで埋め尽くされてる。



You can ride the elephant to climb up to the entrance of the palace.
像のタクシーに乗ってお城の入り口まで行けます。

Amber Fort is an enormous place! This is shot from a different fort near by.
アンベール城は本当に大きなお城！これはすぐ近くにある違う要塞から撮ったもの。


JAL MAHAL ジャル・マハル
This palace is built in a lake.
このお城は湖の中に建てられています。



NARHARGARH FORT　ナルガール要塞
I read that this palace was built for the Maharaja's 9 royal ladies...
この宮殿はマハラジャが９人の王妃のために建てたそう、、







JAIGARH FORT ジャイガル要塞
This was also a big fort, it took me at least 1.5 hours to walk all around but the scenery from this fort was just amazing!
これも本当に広い要塞で、１時間半以上かけて端から端まで歩いたけれど、ここからの景色はまさに絶景！
