To Jaipur, also known as the Pink City

I went on a trip to Jaipur, about 300km away from Delhi. I was told it would be about a 4-5 hour drive but it ended up taking 6 hours by car because of the rain and the heavy traffic getting out from Delhi. But the long hour ride wasn't that bad, I got to enjoy seeing a lot of things on the way. Here are some images shot going to Jaipur.

デリーから300キロほど離れているジャイプールへ行ってきました。車で4-5時間で着くと聞いていたのに、雨とデリーを出るまでの渋滞で６時間かかってしまいました。でも途中の景色を楽しめたので長旅はそんなに大変じゃなかったです。ジャイプールまでの道のりの写真を紹介します。


After some rural scenery we passed by some villages.
のどかな景色を過ぎて、小さな街を通っていきました。




And finally after about 6 hours on the car we enter Jaipur. You'll see how the walls of the buildings are painted pink. This is why Jaipur is also known as the Pink City. Pretty!

そしてやっと6時間が過ぎたころジャイプールに着きました。建物の壁がピンクに塗られているでしょう？これがジャイプールが別名でピンクシティとよばれている理由。すごく、かわいい！
